IMG_3306.jpeg

Rev. Dr. Johnny J. Youngblood was born in New Orleans, LA, on December 20, 1968, to Reverend Dr. Johnny R. Youngblood and Jacquelyn A. McDonald.   As a young child, Dr. Youngblood desired to cultivate a personal relationship with God, and at the age of 14, he accepted God’s purpose for his life. Rev. Youngblood believes that it is a must for spiritual leaders to possess what they profess. Youngblood holds fast to the belief, “You Can’t Lead Where You Don’t Go; You Can’t Teach What You Don’t Know!”

Therefore, Youngblood has lived to recognize that the omniscience of God gives us to know God is inexhaustible, thus provoking a consistent hunger and thirst for righteousness.

Dr. Youngblood has been blessed to serve in pulpits in his native New Orleans and Las Vegas, Nevada.

Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Rev. Youngblood relocated to Renton, Washington, where he was the pastor at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Baptist Church until spring 2022.

Dr. Youngblood holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies, as well as a Master of Theological Studies from Faith College and Seminary. He received his Doctor of Ministry Degree as an Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Fellow from New York Theological Seminary.

Dr. Youngblood is a member of “The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated.” He is married to LaShana N. Youngblood and is the father to their four children, Donnalyn, Joshua, Jasmine, and Nicholas. He is also grandfather to Ky’Aeria, Earnist, My'Yana, and Giana.
